The Crop Sciences Graduate Student Organization, in partnership with the University of Illinois Department of Crop Sciences, invites you to join us on Thursday, April 16th, from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM CT at the Illini Union.

Competitions
Join us for our Poster and Lightning Talk Competition, where participants from different fields will share their research through engaging posters and quick, three-minute talks. We will give awards and cash prizes for first, second, and third place in both categories to recognize great communication and research. We’re excited to offer these opportunities at the 2026 Science and Spirits event. Both undergraduate and graduate students can compete by presenting a poster, a 3‑minute lightning talk, or both. If you want to share your work and take part in the competition, please register to participate.
Important dates: the deadline to submit an abstract is March 26, 2026.
